1. Fastboot Method

First, Turn off your Xiaomi device >>> Now Press & hold both Power + Volume Down until you see the Fastboot logo on your Xiaomi phone.

Then connect your device to PC using a USB cable.
Open the TPS Xiaomi tool, you will check your connected device status in Fastboot mode.

2. EDL Method

EDL Method: First install ADB & Fastboot driver on your PC.
Enable USB debugging mode on Xiaomi phone: Goto Settings > About Device > Tap 7 times on “MIUI Version”.
Then go back to settings -> Additional Settings > Developer Options > then enable USB Debugging.
Now connect your phone to the PC.
Open the CMD (Command Prompt) window in your computer and type the following commands:

You will get a pop-up message, Just tap OK to allows ADB mode in your Phone.
Open the TPS Xiaomi tool, then check the status of your device in ADB mode or Fastboot mode in green color.
